New Festival Name and Festival Director:
After careful deliberation we are excited to announce that the Edmonton Clown Festival will be changing its name to the Play the Fool Festival! New logo and website coming soon.
We are also thrilled to announce that Christine Lesiak has joined us as our Festival Director for the 2017 year!
A message from Christine:
I feel very honoured to get to work within this vibrant, committed and supportive community here in Edmonton with the Play the Fool Festival. I look forward to working with clown-theatre artists and community members from Edmonton, across Canada, and around the world.
Thanks to the festival producing company, Hit That Jive Productions and Festival Producer Julie Kiraly for inviting me to work with them.
